In the Underfill

From the
dust of
bodies,
remnants
of falling
stars…
~
Flowers
push
through,
the silent
graves of
winter…

  1. I love ‘flowers push through, the silent graves of winter.’ Very imaginative.

  2. Doug S says:

I know it is stunningly beautiful where you are. Are the mountain flowers popping up? Lupine? Crocus?

    • Doug. No flowers yet, no mountains, but glad my words made you think of them.

Stars symbolize an absence; you see them but gone, and a falling star has substance, a meteorite! Maybe the body is both, and in death (how winter looks like sometimes) bodies become apart of the earth, so the grave, is also a place of birth… like spring!

I hope my poems are not too vague. Sorry if they are, and maybe I should focus on what an audience would think… but then i’d be too nervous.
      Thank-you for reading,
      Tara
