The Gentle Cuts of the Sun

Gentle rays cuts through
the fear, the doubt, the regret,
changing the colors of the mountain
and bringing hope across the sky.
Teaching us, reminding us, we are not alone, and loved.

Good-morning sun

  1. I love your poem
i have had my own experiences with depression and know how dark they can be. here is a poem i wrote after years of ups and downs owing to difficult situations and inner demons.

if you could buy what i’ve been through
    i wouldn’t recommend you do.
    this is MY life

its not the one id hoped id get
ive been through hell at times, and yet
    THIS is my life

i had hoped for greener grass and bluer skies
    a babbling brook
    with flowers everywhere i looked

but slowly over time ive seen
theres no point wishing for what might have been
    because
    this IS my life

and as i accept my life is – THIS
im seeing what i nearly missed.
That people grow in the strangest places!

    ————————————————–
i wish you well on your journey –
    a fellow traveller

    • Thank-you.. for sharing a moment in time… a feeling. We seem to be alone when we place the walls around us, protecting what’s left of our battered hearts. When light breaks through our minds, we realize we in fact are not alone and there are fellow “flowers” sharing our journey. Thank-you again, journeying together,
      Tara

      • you are so welcome – no we are not alone – though this cruel condition tries to convince us that we are – hope is a powerful thing – keep it close – i know for me it was all that kept me going at times. I am doing so much better now – and have done for 2 years. I look forward to reading more of your posts

        • Thank-you, I’d be happy to visit…”I’m sure”. I may frequently comment though, maybe think twice? WordPress is a medium into the news of people’s hearts that I am enjoying, the sad, happy, angry, alone, fullfilled, inspirational, and into the detailed workings of nature. My eldest daughter showed me wordpress, and I have started blogging, journaling, and finding a sense of freedom and insight.
A great day to you too.

          Tara

Yes feel free to comment on anything that you like, I have a varied Space with many different genres so there should be something in the mix that you find appealing, well I do hope so πŸ™‚

Some of my scripts are horror based but nothing too frightening, though some of the graphics could be creepy I suppose πŸ™‚ lol

I will look out for your request to view my Space and then you can call in whenver you have the opportunity πŸ™‚ Have a wonderful day Tara πŸ™‚
