Smooth Stones of Thoughts

Thoughts are like the
smooth stones,
that run along the river.

Broken away from the
Earth’s bones,
that are gold and silver.

They collect and lay
under nooks and cracks,
weary are the deer,
wolf, and bear tracks.

For the Eagle knows
how alone you lay,
as you shimmer
in it’s eyes,

More precious together yet hard to realize.

    • Thank-you. The stepping stones of our thoughts that run along the river of life. We are greater when added up than where we came from. I tried to put in a little about the miss care of wildlife and how the bird of knowledge knows the truth. Wondering if it came out like that. I’m glad you liked it.
